Patches King is a versatile, sensitive performer of classical, modern, jazz and pop music. She has performed for audiences all around the world, from New York and New Zealand, to Italy and Austin.

King received her formal education in piano performance at Southeast
Missouri State University under the direction of Dr. James Sifferman. She also studied piano pedagogy at Central Missouri State University under the tutelage of Dr. Mia Hynes, a student of legendary pianist Menahem Pressler.

Along with her work as a pianist, King is a former skydiver, marathon runner and Miss America contestant. She is currently studying Italian and skateboarding.
